All Natural Earth Building Blocks
We have developed a range of structural earth building blocks. Rather than being fired they are dried using our innovative biomass boilers, with wood from sustainably managed local woodland. All of our blocks are made from 100% natural materials and as such they present zero toxicity to building inhabitants and zero toxicity to the environment. They provide the perfect solution for structural, insulating or internal walls where building materials are to be scrutinised for their embodied energy and sustainability. To complement our earth building block range we also produce a range of earth mortars and plasters.
Lime Mortar and Render
In response to demand for a lime mortar matching the local vernacular, we have developed our own range of pre-mixed hydraulic lime mortars using local sands. We have chosen the sands for their colour and aggregate, producing a white and a cream mortar both including flint fleck so prolific in the Chiltern mortars of old. You may even spot the odd fleck of our own crushed brick aggregate making our mortars truly bespoke. We can also produce putty lime on request.
